We were actually going to remove Candy Cane from the collection.
Until my best friend Kirsty basically said, “Absolutely not. You CANNOT get rid of Candy Cane.” 😂
And because KBIV is such a personal brand, I thought, you know what? If I’m keeping it because of her, I’m naming the bloody thing after her too.
So Candy Cane has officially had a little makeover…

I first met Kirsty when we were 12 years old, and we’ve pretty much done life together ever since. 🤍
Neither of us grew up with loads of money or a privileged lifestyle, but we both grew up in loving environments, and I think that’s something that’s always kept us grounded.
Over the years, we’ve both known what it’s like to have money and to not have money, to be flying high and to have absolutely nothing going right. And one thing we’ve learnt together is that none of it really matters when you’ve got the right people around you.
You can be sitting somewhere with absolutely nothing or experiencing some of the best things life has to offer — if you’re surrounded by people who genuinely love you, want the best for you and make you laugh, you’re already rich in all the ways that actually matter. 🤍
And that’s always been our friendship.
We’ve done life together.
Relationships. Break-ups. Jobs. Money problems. Family problems. Arguments. Laughing until we couldn’t breathe. The highs, the lows and everything bloody in between. 😂
But a couple of years ago, when I went through one of the darkest periods of my life, Kirsty showed me exactly what a ride-or-die friendship really means.
There were days I couldn’t talk. Days I didn’t want to get out of bed. Days where everything around me felt like it was falling apart.
And she didn’t try to fix me.
She just sat beside me.
Sometimes in complete silence.
Just, “I’m here. When you’re ready, I’m here.”
And honestly, that kind of friendship is priceless.
Since starting KBIV, she’s also been one of the loudest voices telling me, “Kelly, this is going to be massive.”
Every little win, I ring her. Every big achievement, she’s crying like it’s happened to HER. 😂 Every time I doubt myself, she’s there reminding me why I started.
There’s no competition.
No jealousy.
No hate.
She genuinely wants to see me win.
And as you get older, you realise just how rare and bloody special that is. 🤍
So when Kirsty refused to let Candy Cane disappear, there was only one thing for it…
We kept the cream. We changed the name. And now it represents HER.
But actually, it represents something even bigger.
