There are parts of my story I’ve never spoken about publicly and some that are still buried pretty deep. As \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eKBIV London\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e grows, I know that means allowing you to know more of the person and family behind the brand. I’m trying. ❤️\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAnd \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eKyiran \u0026amp; Kayson \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eis one of those stories.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOver nine years ago, while Kayson was still in my tummy and Kyiran was tiny, I created \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eKyiran \u0026amp; Kayson \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ea children’s shoe brand. I put everything into it. It grew incredibly quickly, we had investors involved, the shoes were selling and we were moving into stores.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI genuinely thought I was creating my children’s legacy.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThen, for reasons I’ll share when the time is right, it suddenly came to an end.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThat was a very difficult pill to swallow. It wasn’t just losing a business. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eTheir names were on it.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e It felt like I’d lost something I’d promised my children.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSome of you will know that my boys are autistic. And unless you’ve lived that journey as a parent, it’s difficult to explain the worries that can come with loving your children so fiercely while wondering what their future will look like.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMy boys are two of the most beautiful, innocent souls. They see the good in people. They want friendship, love and happiness. And my biggest fear isn’t who \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ethey\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e are — \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eit’s how the world will treat them.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSometimes I think about the things other parents might dread when their children become teenagers — throwing a house party while you’re away, staying out too late, doing all the things teenagers do — and I find myself thinking, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eGod, I hope I get to worry about those things one day.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBecause sometimes my worries look different.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI worry about whether they’ll be understood. Whether they’ll be included. Whether they’ll find their people. Whether they’ll be safe and supported when Dean and I aren’t there to protect them.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAnd ultimately, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ethat’s why I work the way I do.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eKBIV isn’t about fast cars, massive houses or extravagant holidays for me. I’m building something that I hope gives my children security, choices and a legacy. Something that will still be there for them when one day I can’t be.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSo I always knew \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eKyiran \u0026amp; Kayson had to come back.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e 👑\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis November, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eKYIRAN \u0026amp; KAYSON by KBIV London\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e will officially become part of our Kids Collection.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAnd this time, their name will stand for something even bigger.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFor every \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eKyiran \u0026amp; Kayson cream\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e sold, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e5% of the profit will be donated to an autism charity\/support organisation\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, with the chosen partner to be announced once everything is confirmed. 💙\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI want this cream to help another parent who has laid awake worrying about their child’s future. Another mum who’s cried when nobody was watching.
