When I decided to create KBIV London, believe me when I say I had absolutely NO idea about the ins and outs of creating a skincare brand. 😂 I was literally freestyling my way through it, learning as I went and hoping for the best.

But throughout everything, there were two women who stood beside me — my mum Wendy and my auntie Shirley. 🤍

These are two of the strongest women I have ever known. They’re the women I look up to, the women I measure myself against and the women who make me think, “If they’re proud of me, I must be doing something right.”

They taught me from a young age to be kind, treat people how you want to be treated and never forget where you came from.

And believe me, if I ever get a little too big for my boots or slightly too boujee 😂, my auntie will be the FIRST one to say, “Oi! Come back down to earth!”

And I LOVE that.

Because you don’t need “yes people” around you. You need real people. People who celebrate you but also check you. People who tell you when you’re being a brat 😂, pick you up when everything feels impossible and remind you who you are when you’ve forgotten yourself.

There was a time in my life when I genuinely couldn’t see a way forward. And sometimes all it took was a walk around the park or a coffee with these two women to make me realise:

With the right people around you, you can get through anything.

I’ve experienced incredible places and beautiful things, and I’ve also experienced rock bottom. And what I’ve learnt through both is that happiness isn’t waiting for you in a multimillion-pound house, the Maldives or your bank balance.

Your happy place is wherever the people are who make your soul feel complete. 🤍

And that’s where SHERWIN came from.

SHIRley + WENdy = SHERWIN. ✨

I wanted to create a cream that represented everything they give me — love, strength, happiness, positivity and GOOD ENERGY.

Because KBIV has always been personal. It’s a family brand, and no matter how big we become, I never want to lose that.

So Sherwin Grace isn’t just another fragrance.

It’s my feel-good cream. ☀️

I wanted to create a scent where you open that lid in the morning and instantly think, RIGHT… LET’S GO. 😂🙌

You’ve showered. You’ve moisturised. You’re smelling AMAZING. You’re feeling good. Positivity is ON you, the good vibes are flowing and you’re ready to take on whatever the day throws at you.
